Work Ethics

We do have options on how to do stuffs. It doesn't matter on what kind of stuff we are busily engaged to.
Good work ethics.
These stuffs become my primary reason to continue working here.

Well, I realize that we can learn good work ethics from other place though, but I do believe that my current company has really good one. Not perfect, definitely, but I still can take so many good practice from here.

In oil and gas operation, people think it must be really rough, and yes, it is.
It’s an obligatory to do things right, first time, every time. Otherwise, other person or even yourself could be in danger. The operation I’m working with now are handling big pressure, literally. We charged the tools up to 15000 psi, and sometimes 22.500 psi. So good work ethics start in how to do things right, first time, every time.

Follow the rules. Sometimes we forget that we are working with rules, if you don’t like the rules in the company, just quit, make your own company with your own rules or work at other company that have appropriate rules for you. As long as we are beneath the wings of the company, follow the rules. Like or dislike. At some position, we will have authority to create rules, which most likely to improve work or better condition. Then here, we can adjust some inconvenience items to be convenience ones.

Respect others. When you start to respect other colleagues, then you will get respect from them too. All people are learning, some people start earlier, some others later. But then as a team, respectfully between each other surely make good work within.
Make sure you use good communication in any conversation. You might be someone with really high position and need reluctance from others, just remember your charisma is not good if you are crude-talker. Better not show your power by words, show it by action. Real one.
